Pastor Shaun came on staff at West Seattle Naz in September of 2012. He became Lead Pastor in March of 2013. Shaun came to WSCN after serving as Youth Pastor at 5 Mile Nazarene in Boise ID for 2 years. Before becoming a Pastor, Shaun went to Northwest Nazarene University in Nampa Idaho.
Having grown up in the parsonage Shaun has a deep passion for the Church, and helping the Church come alive to God’s mission in this world.
Shaun is married to the love of his life, Kristen, and together they raise God’s gift this world, their Black Lab Josie, and God’s gift of terror to the world Sampson, a Golden Retriever.
In his free time Shaun enjoys all things sports, reading, going to the gym, drinking coffee, and watching a good show.
Hey everyone. My name is Terry. I’m the old guy, 61 years of age and new grandpa. Joetta and I have been married for 35 years and she is gifted at being human, listening well to people, hospitality, has incredible integrity, and is loved by all. We have been mostly in bi-vocational ministry, the last twenty years at West Seattle Naz. In 2013 I stepped out of senior pastor and serve as an associate pastor.
I love reading Tom Clancy novels, watching TV and movies (science fi mostly, also political, spy-crime types .. “Blacklist”, NCIS-all of them) and writing. I’ve recently been working on two (probably will be unpublished) books.
Finally, my greatest joy, besides Jesus (and that might be argued) is my dog, Jack, a Beagle whom everyone believes is undisciplined. He’s just a nose follower who loves life and me. That’s good enough for me.
Looking forward to connecting with you!
Family Life Pastor
I have an endless love of singing (and food of course)! No higher schooling or musical training under my belt, just a voice to encourage the body of Christ to praise Him.
If the Holy Spirit has touched your soul to sing or strum, or play a melody, give us a little rhythm, pound out a beat -- you are welcome on this worship team anytime.
"Sing to the LORD, all the earth; proclaim his salvation day after day."
1 Chronicles 16:23
OK so we're a little random, but don't you need some of that in your life?
